Eligibility

The Amazon Voucher Prize Draw is a free monthly prize draw that is randomly awarded to Law Society members who participate in the Law Society Insights Online community. This prize draw is open to all Law Society members who:

• Have a verified Law Society Insights Online account; and
• Have completed any of the eligible research tasks (e.g. surveys, polls or forum discussions) the Promoters invite them to participate in.

Entry

All Law Society members who qualify are automatically entered into the prize draw. If you do not wish to be entered, please email community@Insightsonline.lawsociety.org.uk.

Prize draws will take place within one week of the closing date and time for entry, unless otherwise specified in the Specific Terms. Unless stated otherwise in the Specific Terms, the prize winner will be the first entry drawn at random from all valid entries, subject to eligibility and winner confirmation.

The Prize

The winner will receive a £50 Amazon voucher (“Prize”). The Prize is not exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

The winner will be notified by community@Insightsonline.lawsociety.org.uk using the details in your Law Society Insights Online account. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 14 days of being notified, then the winner’s Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

The Prize will be sent to the winner by email within 14 days of being notified of their win.

The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Notification of Winner

The Promoter is required to either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the prize winner to anyone who emails community@Insightsonline.lawsociety.org.uk within one month after a Prize is awarded.

If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at community@Insightsonline.lawsociety.org.uk. Please note that in such circumstances, we still must provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Participants in the prize draw are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Prize Draw terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the Prize, to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend this prize draw promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

Liability

The Promoter does not accept responsibility in the event that any entry is lost, delayed or not properly received, registered or recorded or for any undelivered prize draw entries or for any disruption, delay or misdirection of such entries.

The Promoter cannot promise that the services related to a prize draw will be free from errors or omissions, nor that they will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operating condition. These services may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of any problem with any system, server, software, or for any technical malfunction or failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons reasonably beyond the control of the Promoter.

The Promoter does not accept responsibility for any fault, malfunction, damage, loss or disappointment suffered by you as an entrant howsoever arising from participating in a prize draw or from accepting any prize, whether due to any error or omission by the Promoter, or its employees, agents or others or by any other cause.
